He successively served as deputy director of the Price Division, deputy director of the Industrial Development Division, director of the Office, director of the General Division and deputy director of the Development Planning Department of the Ministry of Railways; deputy director of the Planning and Statistics Department of China Railway Corporation; secretary of the Party Committee of China Railway Construction Investment Corporation; director of the Material Management Department of China Railway Corporation; director of the Material Management Department of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd.; and an External Director of China Railway Beijing Group Co., Ltd. In August 2023, he was appointed by the State Council's SASAC as an External Director of China National Building Materials Group Co., Ltd.
