On July 30-31, China National Building Material Group Co., Ltd. (CNBM) convened its 2026 Mid-Year Work Conference in Tai’an, Shandong. In-person attendees included the Group’s executive leadership, External Directors, and Assistant General Managers, senior executives from China National Building Material Company Limited (CNBM Shares), the Chief Data Officer, the Chief Operating Officer, management teams from second-tier subsidiaries; full-time Board directors; department heads, and principal leaders of key business segments.

Zhou Yuxian, Chairman of CNBM, delivered a keynote speech. He noted that since the beginning of the year, the Group has actively responded to a complex external environment, steadily improving operational quality and efficiency and optimizing its industrial, profitability and market structures. The integration of innovation with investment, transformation with upgrading, and domestic with international markets has deepened, accelerating the emergence of “new quality productive forces.” Zhou analyzed global and domestic landscape and stressed the need to strengthen strategic leadership, accelerate value creation, drive innovation, deepen reforms, and consolidate organizational foundations, aiming to build a world-class materials industry investment group and a leading global provider of non-metallic materials system solutions.

Chang Zhangli, President of CNBM, reviewed the Group’s first-half performance and outlined second-half priorities. He stressed that the Group will focus on stabilizing operations and enhancing efficiency, optimizing business layout and industrial structure, strengthening innovation and reform, and preventing risks and safeguarding bottom lines, to ensure the effective implementation of annual tasks. During the conference, attendees engaged in discussions around the conference speeches and work report, and representatives from several subsidiaries delivered presentations. The conference featured 841 video sub-venues with approximately 7,500 participants.
