On September 15, the Conference on Central Enterprises Boosting Qinghai's High-Quality Development was held in Xining. Chang Zhangli, President of China National Building Material Group Co., Ltd. (CNBM), attended the conference and visited CNBM subsidiaries in the province.

On the afternoon of September 14, Chang Zhangli held a working meeting with Luo Dongchuan, Governor of Qinghai Province. Chang Zhangli expressed gratitude to the Qinghai provincial government for its support of CNBM's business development in the province. He noted that CNBM has established operations in Qinghai across three major sectors: basic building materials, new materials, and engineering and technical services, including the world's first full-process high-performance carbon fiber production base with a single-site annual capacity of more than 10,000 tons. The Group has achieved breakthroughs in key core technologies and advanced the industrialization of its independent innovation outcomes. Going forward, CNBM will promote the high-end, intelligent, and green development of its carbon fiber industry in Qinghai, advance the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation, and actively explore new investment and cooperation opportunities.

Luo Dongchuan welcomed Chang Zhangli and his delegation and expressed gratitude to CNBM for its strong support for Qinghai's economic and social development. He hoped the two sides could leverage Qinghai's clean energy strengths and CNBM's industrial advantages to promote the clustered development of the carbon fiber industry, and jointly set demonstration benchmarks for green and intelligent manufacturing.

During his stay in Xining, Chang Zhangli visited the Sinoma Carbon Fiber Xining base to learn about product R&D, technical upgrading, and production operations, and heard work reports from the three companies: Sinoma Carbon Fiber, Qinghai Corps, and Qilianshan Cement.

Chang Zhangli fully affirmed the achievements made by its enterprises in Qinghai and put forward requirements for the next phase. He emphasized that the Group should leverage Qinghai's strategic positioning and resource endowments, actively contribute to the region's ecological conservation and industrial development, and demonstrate corporate responsibility in supporting Qinghai's growth. The Group should prioritize value creation, continuously optimize its product and customer structures, balance short-term gains with long-term development, deepen reform and innovation, strengthen collaboration with end customers and leading research institutions, pursue green and intelligent development, strictly implement ecological and environmental protection requirements, advance intelligent transformation, balance development and security, strengthen bottom-line thinking, and tighten safety accountability.
